This website's "About" site describes it as "the next generation of the graphing calculator".
To use the site, just open up the graphic calculator on the front page. it will pop into this:
On the left bar, you can see a place to write the equations. After typing in the first equation, the graph will show the slope of the equation. This is basically all it does. You may type in multiple equations, if you like. Also, you can use these equations to create drawings, such as the ones prominently displayed on the home page of the site.
The first thing I made was this, a simple graph that showed what happened when you made a variable more or less than another variable. This is what I made:
This application could most definitely be used by the class. In math, the teachers have already told us to go buy graphing calculators. Even if we couldn't use this application in class, we could use it at home if, say, you forgot your graphing calculator. Also, if you want to apply your math skills and make drawings, this would also be a useful tool.
